Dr. Erica Doucet Dentist
Dr. Erica Doucet is passionate about providing exceptional dental care and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for her patients. With a caring and compassionate personality, Dr. Doucet takes the time to clearly explain treatment options in easy-to-understand terms, ensuring her patients feel informed and at ease during every appointment.
From a young age, Dr. Doucet knew she wanted to be a dentist. She is a proud graduate of Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry (2004) and has since committed herself to continuous learning in all aspects of dentistry to stay at the forefront of the field. A strong believer in preventative care, Dr. Doucet helps her patients avoid costly dental procedures through the use of advanced preventative products and treatments.
Dr. Doucet has a special gift for working with children, creating positive experiences that build trust and comfort. She also offers a wide range of services, including Nitrous Oxide sedation, braces, clear aligners, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants, all while maintaining a modern, technology-driven clinic.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Doucet is an active member of her community, serving on the board of the Crowbar Lake Wilderness Trail Association; a group dedicated to maintaining this beautiful trail system. She enjoys staying active through soccer, running, biking, and skiing, and loves spending time with her family—her husband Tim and their two boys, Oliver and Winston.

With a distinguished 36-year career in dentistry, Dr. Christopher Whiting brings a wealth of experience, scientific insight, and patient-focused care to his profession. Before pursuing dentistry, he was a science teacher and Science department head at Cole Harbour High, where he cultivated a deep commitment to education and leadership. His academic journey began with his first degree a Bachelor of Arts, he continued to get his Bachelor of Science, then his Bachelor and Master of Education, and finally his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie, reflecting a lifelong passion for science and the natural world. He taught at the Dalhousie Dental School and pathology at Nova Scotia Community College instructing the next generations of dental professionals.
British by birth, Dr. Whiting has embraced a balanced life, valuing time with RoseAnne and their family, enjoying quiet moments at the cottage. His multifaceted background and dedication to both professional and personal connection have made him a respected figure in his field and community.

Dr. Victoria Parsons was born and raised in Newfoundland and Labrador. She began her academic journey at Memorial University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry Nutrition. Afterward, Dr. Parsons moved to Nova Scotia to attend Dalhousie University, where she completed both a Diploma and a Bachelor of Dental Hygiene, earning numerous awards, scholarships, and bursaries. She also represented the program on an externship, providing care in Southern Labrador.
After practicing as a dental hygienist for a brief period, Dr. Parsons pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Dalhousie University. During her time there, she participated in the Dental Public Health Elective and received several prestigious awards, including the 3M ESPE Canada Student Clinical Award, the Dr. W.H.H. Beckwith Prize, the Dr. Sheridan Cyrus Award, the Louis Nief Award, and First Place at the Dentistry Research Showcase. These accolades recognized her excellence in various areas, highlighting her skills in providing high-quality fillings, gentle administration of local anesthetics, and conducting research in oral cancer screenings. Her exemplary patient care and compassionate communication, along with her leadership and community involvement, also contributed to these honors. Dr. Parsons has since expanded her qualifications by completing certifications in Nitrous Oxide Sedation and in the use of Botulinum Toxin (Type A) for therapeutic pain management and upper face aesthetics (Levels 1 and 2). She is an active member of the Nova Scotia Dental Association (NSDA), the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), and the Halifax County Dental Society. With a strong commitment to comfort-focused dentistry, Dr. Parsons is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal oral health. She is passionate about providing a high standard of care in general dentistry and easing the burden of dental anxiety.
Dr. Parsons lives in Dartmouth with her fiancé, Jordan, and their dog, Sodhi. They enjoy working on home construction and renovation projects, and when they're not traveling, you'll likely find them golfing or on the lake, enjoying the outdoors!

Allison was born and raised in Antigonish NS. She attended STFX University for two years after high-school before transferring to the Dental Hygiene program at John Abbott College in St. Anne de Bellivue, on the west island of Montreal. She spent 3 years there where she graduated on the deans list in June of 2000.
After graduation she began working in Halifax. She joined Dr. Doucet in 2016 as the "Monday girl" of the hygiene team and will be joining 32 Pearls as a full time employee in June 2025.
Allison is passionate about helping patients maintain their oral hygiene in a non judgemental environment. Educating patients on good oral hygiene habits that not only improve the health of the oral cavity but their overall health.
Allison lives in Elmsdale and has been married to her husband Jamie for 23 years. She is the mom of two great children Sarah 22 and Andrew 18. She enjoys spending time at their family cottage in the summer and following her kids sports.

A dedicated dental assistant with a heart for patient care. Candice brings compassion, precision, and professionalism to every appointment. With years of hands-on experience, she excels in supporting both patients and dental teams in fast-paced environments. As a hardworking mom of four, she knows the value of patience, empath, and multitasking- skills she carries into her work every day. Whether easing a child's nerves or assisting in complex procedures, her calm, caring presence makes a difference.

As the Lead Receptionist, I bring a vibrant and enthusiastic energy to every aspect of my role. Outside of work, I’m always on the move—whether it's exploring the great outdoors, trying new activities, or constantly learning new skills. I am a Certified Level II Dental Assistant, who also studied in Denturism to deepen my understanding of dental sciences. I moved from Ontario in 2023 to embrace a new lifestyle and start the foundation for my family. I have a deep passion for cooking and baking, always experimenting with new recipes and sharing them with friends and family. I’m also proud to be a 3x participant in the Run for MS, supporting a cause that’s close to my heart.
With a strong passion for the dental field, I’m dedicated to helping patients feel at ease and ensuring that every visit is as smooth and pleasant as possible. Born and bred on the Eastern Shore, Margaret has over 35 years of experience in dental administration, bringing a wealth of knowledge and organization to her work. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for her ability to connect with patients, always putting them at ease with her friendly demeanor and great sense of humor. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Margaret has honed the skills necessary to ensure smooth operations within a busy dental office, all while maintaining a personal touch that makes patients feel heard and valued.
Grounded by her Eastern Shore upbringing, Margaret continues to approach both her professional and personal life with warmth, humor, and a commitment to those she serves.
Outside of work, Margaret enjoys spending quality time with her "framily" (friends who feel like family), cooking delicious meals, and embarking on camping trips and travels to new places. Her love for adventure and connection is only rivaled by her appreciation for the simple joys in life.

Melissa is a dedicated dental assistant with a passion for patient care and a deep commitment to her profession. She graduated from dental assisting school in 2007 and has since built a successful career in the dental field. Outside of work, Melissa is a proud wife and mother to two boys, as well as a devoted dog owner.She enjoys spending quality time with her family, whether it's relaxing at home, exploring the great outdoors, or embarking on camping trips. Melissa finds solace and joy in the peacefulness of nature and is especially fond of the ocean, often seeking out coastal getaways to recharge.With a balanced life that includes both professional achievements and meaningful family connections, Melissa remains passionate about creating lasting memories with her family and enjoying the simple pleasures that life has to offer.

Meet Paige, a registered dental assistant at 32 Pearls Dental. She began her career with Dr. Doucet's team shortly after graduating from NSCC Institute of Technology in 2023. Paige brings enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to the practice.
Outside of work, Paige is deeply family-oriented. She is the youngest of six siblings and a proud aunt to nine beautiful nieces and nephews. At home, she cherishes time with her her fiancé Mac, their seven-year-old son Bo, and their dog, Lennon.

Renee graduated from Dalhousie University Dental Hygiene program in May 2002 and is a member of CDHNS, CDHA, and HDHS. She achieved a Sciences degree at the University of New Brunswick before her diploma in dental hygiene. Renee has successfully completed many continuing education programs including advanced orthodontic training and local anesthesia certification, this allows Renee to treat all areas of periodontal health.
Renee has been actively involved with the Halifax dental hygiene society since 2006 and has held all executive positions while currently serving as co-chair while maintaining treasurer since 2016.
Renee is fun, caring and compassionate all while maintaining a professional composition. She values feedback from the patients and truly loves to provide thorough yet gentle dental hygiene care. Renee is wonderful with children and all ages and excels in periodontal therapy where she can tailor each appointment for the individual to achieve the best overall results for dental health and overall well-being.
She speaks French, enjoys playing piano, travel, skiing with her snowboarding family, surfing and beach days along the Eastern shore.

RoseAnne is a dedicated dental assistant with over 40 years of experience, 17 years of those specializing in orthodontics and clinic management. Her commitment to community extends beyond the dental chair-she serves as a board member for the Tatamagouche Museum and volunteers her time at the IWK. When she's not giving back or working in healthcare, RoseAnne enjoys relaxing with her family at the cottage and exploring the outdoors through kayaking.
